C’est avec le brillant musicien et arrangeur am\u00e9ricain Gil Goldstein \u2013 partenaire, entre autres, de Miles Davis, Gil Evans, Pat Metheny, Paul Simon ou encore Michael Brecker \u2013 que Daniel Yvinec s\u2019est associ\u00e9 pour la conception de ce troisi\u00e8me album. Ensemble, ils ont imagin\u00e9 de faire se rencontrer, dans un \u00e9tourdissant effet de miroirs, diff\u00e9rentes compositions de Piazzolla \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur d\u2019une m\u00eame pi\u00e8ce, mais aussi d\u2019\u00e9voquer la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019autres artistes qui l\u2019ont influenc\u00e9. Les ombres de Carlos Gardel, Alberto Ginastera, Roberto Di Filippo, Gil Evans, se m\u00ealent ainsi \u00e0 son univers.

An artist of confluence, Piazzolla symbolizes many values dear to the artistic approach led by Daniel Yvinec and his ONJ. A personal exploration of his work is an ideal playground for an orchestra that works in depth on sound, timbre, collective and individual playing, defending an open vision of jazz.<\/em><\/p>\n

Daniel Yvinec teamed up with the brilliant American musician and arranger Gil Goldstein – partner of Miles Davis, Gil Evans, Pat Metheny, Paul Simon and Michael Brecker, among others – to create this third album. Together, they imagined a dizzying mirror effect in which different Piazzolla compositions would meet in the same room, and also evoke the presence of other artists who influenced him. The shadows of Carlos Gardel, Alberto Ginastera, Roberto Di Filippo and Gil Evans mingle with his universe.
